WHO CAN APPLY TO THE ANTIOCH PROJECT?
Men and women, single or married, who have completed a bachelor's degree or are over the age of 27 years old. These men and women must think God may be calling them to vocational ministry. All applicants must be of high character and demonstrate that character and teachability as they are known more and more.
WHAT IF I'M NOT CURRENT AT A 17:6 NETWORK CHURCH?
Applicants do not need to currently be attending a 17:6 Network church, however, they must be willing to be apart of one where Antioch Project is offered, if they are accepted into the program.

WHAT IS THE COST FOR THE ANTIOCH PROJECT?
Current cost of the Antioch Project is $250 per student or $350 per married couple per semester.
WHAT IS THE COST FOR THE MASTER OF DIVINITY DEGREE FROM NORTHWEST BAPTIST SEMINARY?
$6,500 CAD per year for 4 years plus $120 CAD Library/Tech fee per year. Students officially begin the Antioch Project Immerse program during their 2nd year in Antioch Project and finish in their 5th year of Antioch Project.
WILL I BE ABLE TO MAKE FRIENDS IN THE ANTIOCH PROJECT?
Yes. Students in Antioch Project thrive on welcoming new members in and helping them connect with the group and the church. You will find that those you serve with in ministry, work with under pressure, face challenges with, reach out to others with, and share life with over time often become your dearest, most treasured and trustworthy friends.
WHAT IF I START THE PROGRAM, BUT THEN DECIDE TO MOVE OR STOP THE PROGRAM?
Students who start Antioch Project are not obligated to complete the 5 year training program. However, you cannot complete Antioch Project Immerse if you do not complete Antioch Project.
Students are also NOT guaranteed to be admitted to each successive training module. Commitment on behalf of the student and admittance on behalf of Antioch Project is based on one semester at a time. Student performance in Antioch Project and in ministry assignments along with demonstrated character, qualify or prohibit him for admittance each semester.
WHAT TYPE OF PEOPLE TYPICALLY ARE IN ANTIOCH PROJECT?
Men and women, single, married, parents, who have completed a bachelor's degree or are over the age of 27. These men and women work in a variety of fields, some are currently on staff at 17:6 Network churches, while most work in secular industries. Some are stay-at-home moms, while others are teachers and work in education. Many have previous ministry experience from college ministry, overseas missions, previous church staff, etc. Others are just starting out in life after college or life as newlyweds. All are hungry to learn and apply and want to grow in character.
CAN I START THE PROGRAM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE YEAR?
No, students may only enter the program for the Fall semester with Orientation starting in May of the year the student plans to start.
WHAT TYPES OF THINGS ARE STUDIED?
The content studied has been handpicked to challenge and encourage students to live life God’s way, lead in line with God’s ways, and build organizations that are pleasing to God. Students learn from a variety of key books, audio and video resources, The Wisdom Conference series and the How Church Works conference series, as well as attending live conferences.
DO I GET TO PICK WHAT I STUDY IN LEADERSHIP AND MINISTRY?
The content students go through is a set curriculum, however, as students move through the program, we work hard to "custom tailor" the hands-on ministry experience to the student's interests, gifting, training for future ministry plans, and desired areas of learning. Students progress through leadership levels based on their character and skill developed in leadership.
WHAT ABOUT HOUSING AND WORK?
One of our goals in Antioch Project is to help students learn to successfully navigate and build skills in ministry as an adult in the community. For this reason we do not offer any dormitory living arrangements. Students arrange for their own housing, with recommendations from Antioch Project Staff. Whether living with roommates or alone, in an apartment or in a house, students are encouraged to reach out to their neighbors and utilize their living situation for building relationships with those around them, who may be “lost.” This type of living arrangements gives students hands-on experience with planting or starting a ministry and the work of getting and build relationships with those around them.
The Antioch Project training program is not simply an educational program, where one is a “full-time” student and plans to work after the completion of a degree. Our students in Antioch Project are learning how to navigate and blend all aspects of life, work, ministry, family, etc together like they will need to be capable of long-term in ministry. For this reason, our students maintain a “full-time” work load at a job. For some students this means they work a few part-time jobs to equal a normal full-time work week. Women who are “stay-at-home moms” are exempt from this work status, but are expected to really work at managing their homes, raising their children, and contributing to the ministry.
We collect housing and employment opportunities students Antioch Project hear of and pass them on to new students moving to the area.
